At the world’s largest trade fair for the bakery and confectionery industry, backaldrin presents this year’s new products.

Every three years, the global baking industry meets in Munich to present the most important market novelties, from products, innovative raw materials and ingredients to production possibilities and shop fitting. For Austrian market leader backaldrin it is a fixture on the calendar. Preparations have been well underway for quite some time; alongside product development, there are also logistical challenges. Around 80,000 visitors from all over the world are expected, and more than 300 backaldrin employees will welcome them at the exhibition stand. Ancient grains are still a big topic. Here our master bakers have developed new recipe ideas. But a superfruit also plays a big role this year, so there is much to discover. Social trends continue to keep the industry busy. backaldrin is focused on the ever-growing out of home consumption, with a variety of snack ideas for every day and every taste.

Sport-Power at the iba

At least as much energy as the bread and snacks deliver can also be found in the "Kornspitz Sport Team". Involved in professional and amateur sports for many years, the company has invited some of its sports stars to the iba. From Sunday to Wednesday, athletes will be at the backaldrin stand every day from 3pm. There you have the exclusive opportunity to get autographs, have your picture taken or simply to chat with the stars and get some tips about proper nutrition in professional sport.
