Sustainability remains a lived reality at backaldrin: As in the previous year, backaldrin has once again been awarded the coveted EcoVadis Silver Medal. This places us among the top four percent in the “Manufacture of other food products” sector and is a strong confirmation of our commitment to sustainable corporate management.

This recognition affirms backaldrin’s dedication to sustainability. Following last year’s excellent result, backaldrin has maintained its rating and once again received EcoVadis Silver this year. We are now among the top twelve percent of all companies assessed by EcoVadis in the past twelve months. Within the “Manufacture of other food products” sector, backaldrin remains in the top four percent of evaluated companies.

At backaldrin, we are always striving for further development, but we also recognise when outstanding achievements are hard to surpass. This renewed award confirms our vision of a sustainable future, and we are delighted to receive the EcoVadis Silver Medal.

Outstanding performance in key areas

The well-deserved reward is the Silver Medal. Achieving a percentile rank of 88 means that the company was rated better than or at least equal to 88 percent of all companies assessed by EcoVadis. Particularly noteworthy is the area of “Sustainable Procurement”, where backaldrin ranks among the top five percent of evaluated companies. Further top results were achieved in the categories “Labour & Human Rights” (top five percent), “Environment” (top six percent), and “Ethics” (top seven percent).
