Since 1 January 2025, an expanded management team has taken on responsibility to drive the company’s long-term goals even more effectively. Two experienced managing directors who have already helped shape backaldrin for many years, Mag. Martin Mayr and Ing. Mag. Wolfgang Mayer have joined the executive team.

New leadership team, proven values
Martin Mayr is a familiar figure in the company. For many years, he has brought his in-depth financial expertise and international business acumen to backaldrin’s development. Now, as managing director, he assumes responsibility for finance, production, logistics, technology, and international sales support. His goal is to further optimise processes, leverage synergies, and set the course for sustainable growth.
Wolfgang Mayer is also a well-known face at backaldrin. Since joining backaldrin, the company spokesperson has been responsible for numerous successful marketing and sponsorship initiatives, and has led the company in a future- oriented direction in the areas of sustainability and digitalisation. In addition to his previous responsibilities, he is now also responsible for sales activities in Austria, Germany and Benelux. Driving digitalisation forward and developing innovative solutions – these are just some of the priorities he has set himself.
Harald Deller – an experienced visionary takes on new responsibilities
The previous managing director, Harald Deller, has served as general director of backaldrin International The Kornspitz Company GmbH since the beginning of the year, and is responsible for the company’s strategic development. His name stands for success and growth – under his leadership, backaldrin has established itself as a leader in innovation. In the future, he will focus more on the international production sites, subsidiaries, and central corporate divisions.
