Double backaldrin ski spectacle

THE FIS Alpine Ski World Cup faced tough competition with the German and Polish Bakers’ Ski Races in January 2025

Die zahlreichen Starter und anwesenden Besucher konnten sich bei beiden Veranstaltungen über schönes Wetter und beste Pistenverhältnisse freuen. Am 18. Januar kam es zum Comeback des Deutschen Bäckerskirennens. In Berchtesgaden, genauer gesagt am Watzmann, folgten zahlreiche Kunden, Partner und Gäste der Einladung von backaldrin. Das Teilnehmerfeld für das Rennen umfasste 85 Personen, die alle nur ein Ziel hatten: am Ende auf dem Podest ganz oben zu stehen.

Mit Thomas Dreßen, dem Kitzbühel-Abfahrtssieger von 2018, gab es einen Stargast, der die Rennstrecke auf ihre Tauglichkeit prüfte. Als Vorläufer diente darüber hinaus Kornspitz-Sportdirektor Christoph Sumann, der sich im Kornspitz-Mann-Kostüm den Hang hinunterwagte und so für die perfekte Einstimmung auf das Rennen sorgte. Nach dem Rennen gab es selbstverständlich noch eine Siegerehrung, ehe der Renntag bei Speis und Trank sowie guter Musik sein Ende fand.

Heartfelt thanks to everyone who made our 2025 Baker's Ski Race so unforgettable. Our customers not only demonstrated their skills on a challenging piste, but also provided plenty of fun and a great atmosphere. It was a great event, where team spirit, passion and a relaxed atmosphere were at the forefront. A special thank you goes to our organising team, who put so much heart and soul into preparing this event. We're already looking forward to the next round and hope to see many of you again. Another week, another race

The following week, the next spectacle took place: the Polish Bakers’ Ski Race in St. Lambrecht. Around 350 invited guests and employees were able to enjoy sport and fun in the Grebenzen ski area from 23 to 25 January. The three-day event kicked off on Thursday with a reception at the Hotel Auszeit. The giant slalom took place on Friday, followed by an awards ceremony. On Saturday, guests had the day to do as they pleased: skiing, hiking, or nice chats over coffee were among the most popular activities. A farewell dinner was held in the evening, before the return journey began on Sunday.

The 21st Polish Bakers' Ski Race in St. Lambrecht, Austria, exceeded all our expectations. We had 350 visitors, some of whom were there for the 21st time. Around 150 people participatedin the giant slalom and were thrilled to receivecertificates and trophies. The weather was beautiful, but we would have been very happy with a little more snow. Many thanks to our customers who took part in this successful event.
