Our innovations are not only technologically advanced, but also set new standards for quality and taste.
Peter Augendopler, Owner

The BAS family of products has been an integral part of backaldrin’s corporate history for over 60 years. BAS Wheat, a liquid wheat sourdough, is the newest addition to the range.
EYE-CATCHING NEW PRODUCTS
Besides well-known favourites like Austria’s crispiest ambassador, the Kornspitz®, backaldrin also presented a variety of new breads. The multifaceted new mix Pane Scuro allows for the production of soft and fluffy doughs that are idea for overnight refrigeration – without the need for baking tins or baskets. Whether it is Krustis, grill bread, crusty wreath bread, or GlüxNuss nut bread, Pane Scuro offers flexibility in every respect.
The sweet mochi donut balls, in particular, captured everyone’s attention. Their crisp outer shell contrasted perfectly with the chewy crumb. Combined with various fillings and eye-catching decorations, they provided a true feast for the senses.
