This drinking cup from the Netherlands is an unusually playful object of the month. It is adorned with a typical Dutch windmill, engravings depicting two works of mercy and an attached miller. What makes it truly special is its function:

during a drinking ritual, the user first had to blow into the horn protruding from the windmill in order to set the windmill in motion. Next, the cup had to be emptied in “next to no time” – even before the wind turbines had stopped turning after two or three seconds. Rating: worth seeing!
