ISO 22000 for backaldrin
backaldrin was certified according to ISO 22000:2005 following a comprehensive audit. ISO 22000 is an international standard defining the demands imposed on management system to ensure food safety.
"The safety of food is the top priority both for our customers as well as for consumers", says backaldrin quality manager Gerhard Binder. "All important elements along the entire production chain are encompassed in the ISO 22000 standard", he adds. ISO 22000 is based on ISO 9001, and links quality management with a HACCP concept.
backaldrin Österreich The Kornspitz Company GmbH is also certified in accordance with IFS Version 5. The BIO product line of the family-owned company fulfills the EU Ordinance 834/2007. Adherence to prevailing regulations pertaining to the production of biological food at the company headquarters in Asten is continually examined and confirmed by the inspection body Austria Bio Garantie.
