The bread innovation by backaldrin is the Dinkel Wachauer®, featuring the newly developed basic baking ingredient Dinkel WachauerMix.


Its extraordinary added ingredient is grape kernel flour from the Wachau, Austria’s most prominent wine-growing region with UNESCO World Cultural Heritage status. This special ingredient is derived from Wachau grapes in a patented process. From a scientific point of view, the grape kernels contain particularly interesting secondary plant ingredients.The Dinkel Wachauer® is an exceptionally moist bread which remains fresh for a long time. The taste is pleasantly mild and slightly spicy thanks to the addition of grape kernel flour.
